Description
SVP is a passive fire protection device / system to be installed in fire-fighting lobbies, whose aim is to minimise the effects of the fire ensuring people’s safety.
SVP is proposed as a kit composed of a control panel, a pressurizing unit (fan) and a pressure sensor (remote or integrated according to models).
The SVP systems are used to pressurize the fire fighting lobbies maintaining them at the minimum overpressure level of 30 Pa for a period of 120 minutes in case of fire.
The pressurization of the lobby can be made in 2 modalities according to the configuration of the lobby:
1. Pressurization ONLY in case of emergency: this is the case of lobbies in which doors are usually kept opened.
2. Continuous pressurization of the lobby 24h running: this is the case of lobbies in which doors are usually kept closed.
